Yashvardhan Dalal Smashes Record with Unbeaten 428 in CK Nayudu Trophy
Yashvardhan Dalal etched his name in history by scoring an unbeaten 428 runs for Haryana against Mumbai in the Under-23 CK Nayudu Trophy on Saturday. His record-breaking knock is the highest in the tournament's history, surpassing Sameer Rizvi’s previous best of 312, set last season.
Mumbai won the toss and opted to bowl at the Gurugram Cricket Ground in Haryana's Sultanpur, but Dalal’s monumental innings took center stage. He shared a massive 410-run partnership for the first wicket with Arsh Ranga, who contributed 151. Dalal's knock included 46 fours and 12 sixes, and he faced 465 balls before Haryana declared their innings at 742 for 8 early on the third morning.
Dalal had previously scored 4 against Madhya Pradesh and 23 and 67 against Jharkhand in his earlier matches.
