Virat Kohli Confirms Availability for Delhi's Final Ranji Trophy Match

Virat Kohli will train with the Delhi team starting from Tuesday in preparation for his much-anticipated Ranji Trophy return after 11 years.

Delhi coach Sarandeep Singh confirmed Kohli’s availability for their final group-stage match against Railways, set to take place from January 30 to February 2 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Kohli had missed Delhi's previous fixture due to a neck injury but will now participate, following the BCCI's directive urging centrally contracted players to feature in domestic cricket after India’s 3-1 loss to Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

In recent days, photos and videos of Kohli training with former India and RCB batting coach Sanjay Bangar at a facility in Mumbai have surfaced online.

The Ranji Trophy group stage wraps up four days before India’s opening ODI against England in Nagpur on February 6. Kohli is part of the squad for the three-match series, which serves as preparation for the Champions Trophy starting February 19.
